Ode to Friends 

 

On 9/11

The Towers came down

I laughed so hard

My pants turned brown

 

So I write this tribute

With joyful glee

To thank my friends

at the DNC

 

We're quite the same

I'm not blowing smoke

We both think terrorism

Is just a joke

 

You stood up for me

Your voices heard

You've made me proud

With every word
