Ten Points for a Better Tomorrow

There are many things that need to be done in order to bring America back to the well-respected peace-loving nation it once was. Here are Michael Cooper's Ten Points for a Better America. This is by no means a complete list of campaign pledges, but these are certainly the most urgent.

1) Recall all U.S. troops from Iraq, and put the United Nations in charge.

2) Call for a formal investigation of the 2000 election in Florida.

3) Create a cabinet that is racially and ability diverse. We believe that no person should be excluded due to race or perceived 'handicap.'

4) Issue a formal apology to France and Germany for our actions over the past year.

5) Repeal Bush's tax cut for the richest 1% of Americans, and use the revenue to create good, family-wage jobs. We strongly believe that the rich in this country have had a free ride for far too long, and they need to start pulling their own weight.

6) Repeal the Patriot Act, and restore dignity to all Americans, regardless of religion or ethnic origin.

7) Hold open and honest debates about why so many people around the world seem to hate America. Michael firmly believes that Islam is NOT the enemy (WAR is the enemy).

8) Strictly enforce the Americans with Disabilities Act, which has been steadily eroded under the Bush Administration.

9) Cut all ties with Israel, and take a balanced approach to the conflict in the Middle East. As long as America is perceived as being biased in favor of Israel, there will never be true peace in that part of the world.

10) Cancel all contracts with U.S. companies involved in the reconstruction of Iraq. Haliburton should not be getting rich off of war. The United Nations is the only legitimate body that can determine which companies are allowed to rebuild Iraq.
