Last week, we took a well-deserved
shot at NARAL (National Association of Really Angry Lesbians). This week, we blow the lid off their sooper stoopid television
commercial that seems to pop up every 15 seconds.
The ad (which we've all seen at least 10,000 times) features an attractive woman (probably the CEO of some wonderful
corporation - because those evil corporations are somehow perfectly fine as long as they are being run by a woman).
The commercial is shown "backwards" and starts at the "end" (where the woman is shocked to read a newspaper headline
that says "Abortion Outlawed"). As she takes a few steps backward, we are treated to the Anti-Christ himself (a balding, lanky,
white male who could easily play "The Scarecrow" in the next Batman movie). The man (apparently a Supreme Court Justice) steps
out of his office with a grim look on his face (probably having just raped at least a dozen women, because we all know
that patriarchal men want to force women to have babies). There's no mistaking it. This man is the
one responsible for abortion being outlawed (prick!).
Finally, the commercial ends with the woman (again going backwards) being given propaganda leaflets by attractive young ladies working
for NARAL (smiling and looking very cheerful indeed). The leaflets say "Pro-choice America" and "Protect your right to
choose." The ad ends, and America is nauseated (until it starts again, because it's often shown back-to-back. In some
markets, I understand the commercial is on a continuous loop).
This ad is proof positive that NARAL women are dumb. Let's put those critical thinking skills to good use and ask ourselves
some questions:
How could one man make abortion illegal? Do so-called 'pro-choice' women know about the checks and balances
that exist in our government? Do they understand that one man (whether it's the Chief Justice of the Supreme Court, or the
President of the United States) can't do a thing by himself? Even the recent ban on partial birth abortion required a majority
in the House and the Senate (of course that didn't prevent the "unbiased" news media from portraying it as "Bush's ban on
late-term abortions").
Why are the NARAL women smiling and handing out "Protect your right to choose" leaflets?
If abortion has been outlawed, wouldn't they be shreiking and handing out "Take back your right to choose"
leaflets? Are you telling me that these gals are handing out NARAL materials completely oblivious to the fact that abortion
has been outlawed? I seriously doubt that the right to "choose" was single handedly taken away (by whitey) then the story
was released, sent to the presses, printed in the newspapers, and distributed to every newsstand in the country in the 12
seconds or so it takes the lady to walk from the NARAL chicks to the Newspaper Stand. The only impressions I took
away from this commercial were (1) NARAL women are dumb, and (2) White men really suck.
Everybody has an opinion on abortion. Some say life begins at conception, others say it starts when there are brainwaves
(or a heartbeat). Still others are perfectly fine with "terminating" the pregnancy right up until the moment of birth. Regardless
of your stand on abortion, the disingenuous tone of NARAL (in their ads and on their
website) clearly reveals them to be out of the mainstream (not to mention sooper stoopid liars)!
