A San Francisco Bay Area gallery owner was allegedly attacked last week by some knuckle-dragging jingoistic "patriot"
over a piece of anti-American "artwork" she displayed at her shop. Lori Haigh (pronounced "hate") allegedly received
a shiner and a busted-up schnoz simply because she was expressing her freedom of speech (that the soldiers she was condemning
have secured for her).
Let's all take a breath and look at this logically. First, until someone is arrested, I'm calling this an "alleged" assault.
I've been fooled too many times in the past by leftists in the news (mostly women) who claimed to have been the victim of
assault, harassment, or vandalism, only to have them later admit that they staged the whole thing. It wouldn't surprise me
if Ms. Haigh asked her Islamist boyfriend to give her a good shiner to gain further sympathy for "the cause."
Personally, I am adamantly opposed to violence against women. It is reprehensible, and I condemn it with every fiber
of my being (and the fibers of several other people, if they happen to be standing nearby).
However, as a Democrap Presidential Candidate, I must tow the liberal line when it comes to matters of policy. Democraps
have been making excuses for criminal behavior since before I was born. More recently, they have twisted themselves into human
pretzels, coming up with whatever excuses they thought would stick in order to explain the Islamists desire to kill us all.
I'm sure that Ms. Haigh herself played a few solid rounds of "It's our fault" after we were attacked on 9/11. So in order
to avoid being seen as "too patriarchal" or "too conservative," I am requred to do all I can to JUSTIFY whatever assault may
have taken place. It's all part of being a "progressive," right?
Let's take a look at the "artwork" itself. This painting (by Guy Colwell, an alleged artist in his own right) depicts
the "torture" of Iraqi prisoners at Abu Ghraib prison. Notice how the Americans are painted as fugly, while the Iraqis are
shown as chiseled, buff, and noble. And look at that poor Iraqi woman in the background. She's almost angelic. It's a shame
she has to stand there next to some dirty, filthy, American pig. That's not my opinion - I'm just interpreting the "art" the
way it was clearly meant to be interpreted.
The gallery in question is located in the North Beach section of San Francisco (a traditionally Italian neighborhood).
Perhaps one of the Italians didn't like knowing the fact that one of his neighbors is a member in good standing of the Marxist
- Islamist Alliance. This is war after all.
What if it turned out to be a Muslim man who assaulted this woman? What if the graphic display of male Arab genitalia
(by a woman, no less) was so offensive to his "culture," that he was required to give her a good working over? Perhaps a future
attack will happen based upon that very premise. I'm just getting a headstart on the excuse making. It's just sad that this
can't be laid at the doorstep of the Bush/Cheney/Halliburton cabal. Or can it? How about this? "The jingoistic and nationalistic
environment created by the Bush-Cheney machine is to blame for this woman's assault." Hey, that wasn't difficult at all!
Finally, take a look at the story at SF Gate. After Ms. Haigh shuts down her gallery, what does she use to cover up the windows? That's right - newspapers from 9/11
2003 (which I'm sure had stories of the anniversary of 9/11/01, as well as articles on the war). It's all just another piece
of "art." The murder of 3000 Americans, Islamists slitting female flight attendants' throats, and the destruction of
the World Trade Center is nothing more than a punchline if Ms. Haigh's sick joke. If that doesn't convince you that this
story stinks to high heaven, nothing will.
Oh, and if you're a leftist moron who thinks that I somehow condone violence against women, forget it. I've already
explained my position, but you're clearly too unevolved and sub-moronic to get what I'm saying. In fact, you're
probably one of the hundreds of thousands of Marxist morons who drive around in your P.T. Cruiser with a Dean sticker AND
a Kerry sticker on the back (because, like in Florida, you think that you can beat Bush if you just vote often enough
for multiple opponents at the same time. And if you don't get your way, you think you will be able to "re-vote"). Idiots.
