I would like to take some time out from my usual fare of cracking jokes and making observations about how John Kerry is a complete piece of shit, and compose a (rare) serious rant. As the whole world knows by now, American Nick Berg was murdered by Al Qaeda in Iraq in a gruesome, horrific video now floating around the internet. Although I have seen it, I have decided not to link it here (because it would be pointless). If you want to see it (I think it's important that you do) there are many places where you can find it. Be forewarned, you will not forget it. Ever.

 

What I need to talk about is the moral equivalence and blatantly over-the-top partisanship being shown by liberal shitheels and the so-called "mainstream" media. First of all, the media were tripping all over themselves this week to essentially justify this murder. Don't believe me? Take a look for yourself. How many newspapers and television "journalists" are calling this a "revenge" killing (or a killing that was sparked by the "abuse" at Abu Ghraib prison)? Virtually all of them, right? You gotta hand it to leftwing assholes. When a terrorist says something that fits their political agenda ("we killed Nick Berg because of the abuses in Iraq") the leftists repeat it verbatim. However, when Al Qaeda says things like they want to kill anyone who isn't of the same extreme Muslim sect as they are, most leftist lemmings will then make shit up to fit their own political agenda (like "we were attacked on 9/11 because we're such a consumer-driven society of hypocrites," or "because we're so materialistic," or "it's our fault because we had slavery 150 years ago"). What a bunch of typical liberal horseshit.

 

Nick Berg was murdered because the Islamists COULD murder him. He was a friendly, trusting person who happened to have been travelling in Iraq by himself. Plus, he was Jewish. What better target for the bloodthirsty Islamists? Any mention of "prison abuse" as justification (and make no mistake - it IS being used as justification) is a red herring. And even if the Islamists WERE sincere when they said it was the "torture" at Abu Ghraib prison which caused them to commit murder, it was most likely the phony porn photos and videos which have been broadcast ad nauseum throughout the Arab world that got them so pissed (or "aroused" as the case may be)..

 

Putting the blame on anyone OTHER than the savage Moslems is complete bullshit (whether it's coming from the right or the left). Are you really going to believe that there were five peace-loving happy-going Muslims just walking down the street, on their way to buy their kids ice cream or whatever, when they saw a newspaper with the Abu Ghraib photos then went completely insane to the point of developing the ability to cut off someone's head in cold blood? Or is it more likely that these five savages were RAISED savages, and have been killing just for the fun of it most of their adult lives?  If there is any document, magazine, book, or scroll which would be most responsible for these knuckle draggers, it would have to be the Quran. The last time I checked, their holy book wasn't written by George Bush. 

 

So please, everybody, just get over yourself for about five minutes and stop making excuses for the killers. And President Bush, stop saying that the people who did this are "enemies of freedom." They are far worse than that. They are enemies of life itself. So let's all butch up for the next several months while the U.S. military (along with our allies) does what needs to be done in order to eliminate these rats once and for all.
