Demote ME, will ya?

The race for the White House heated up this week as the "mainstream" media joined forces with Democratic lawmakers in a partisan attempt to blame the Bush administration for the attacks of September 11, 2001. All week long, the 9/11 Commission (which was ostensibly formed to find answers regarding what could have been done to prevent 9/11) was turned into nothing more than an infomercial for Richard Clarke's crap-can book, "Against All Enemies." Perhaps the most disappointing display this week was the cheering and applause coming from a select number of relatives of 9/11 victims (who were really nothing more than cheerleaders and window-dressing in this disgusting book-pimping party). However, there are a few actual facts that came out of this week's festivities. First, let's look at the week's Winners and Losers:

Winners

The Clinton Administration - I'll give credit where credit is due. Although Bill Clinton was clearly weak on terrorism and national defense, it seems obvious now that even IF he had taken military action against al-Qaida, the Left would have run him out on a rail (and the Right would have said it was only to cover up Monicagate).  Furthermore, Clinton showed us what NOT to do (negotiate, be nice, etc.) which should at least be proof enough to the "Give Peace a Chance" fifth column 'tards that negotiating with terrorists is an exercise in futility (not to mention a deadly mistake).

Richard Clarke - Although he was proven to be a duplicitous, lying sack of shit, the week-long promotion of his book (starting with Leslie Stahl's 60 minutes puff piece) was enough to sell millions of copies (and line Clarke's pockets). And let's be honest, that's all Clarke is the least bit concerned with.

Fox News - Although I generally don't like Fox (more because of the unprofessional banter and sensationalism rather than any alleged "bias") they really proved themselves to be the least biased of ALL news organizations. When a known war criminal like Bob Kerry bashed Fox (to the thunderous applause of the Marxist dupes in attendance at the Kerry election party) it became pretty clear that Fox is the only one doing the actual job of "investigative journalism." Fox's revalation that Clarke praised the Bush Administration to the rafters two years ago (completely contradicting what he's saying today) was pretty solid journalism. It's too bad the rest of the media can't take a cue. Fox's ratings are bound to soar.

Losers

The Bush Administration - Like it or not, these hearings were nothing more than the Bush Administration being used as a pinata by left-wing special interest groups. Condi Rice in particular was savaged for being a "no show" (although she has ALREADY given sworn testimony to the 9/11 panel).

The "Mainstream" Media - Sure, they did the damage to Bush that they wanted to, but it came at the expense of any shred of credibility they had left. Not only did the major networks shamefully turn this into an "elect Kerry" party, but any facts which came out which proved that Richard Clarke can't be trusted were immediately labeled as "Bush being on the defensive by trying to paint Richard Clarke as dishonest." To even the most casual observer, the media clearly revealed their agenda.

The 9/11 Commission - As with the "mainstream" media, the commission itself was a pretty blatant cheerleader for Richard Clarke and his book. I didn't really expect it to be better than it was, but to use 9/11 as a stage for pimping a book was pretty reprehensible.

John Kerry - Oddly enough (and probably to the chagrin of the media and the committee), although Bush took a hit in the "credibility" department, it may not translate into votes for Kerry. Look at it this way: What is Kerry saying we should do in Iraq? Get the U.N. involved. What is his proposal for fighting terrorism? The same failed policies that Clinton Administration officials now admit did not work. And this whole fiasco is only reminding people of the threat of terrorism we live under. Voting for Kerry would indeed be a "step backward," and I think a lot of Americans realize that.

So What Have We Learned?

1) Peace is for saps. The old way of negotiating, going to the U.N., bargaining and other non-military options have been proven NOT to work in the fight against bloodthirsty jihadists. Anyone who claims that the War in Iraq will "cause" more terrorism will have to accept the line that peace "caused" 9/11. You can't have it both ways (yes, I know, to the traitors and Trojan Horse "peace" groups, logic doesn't matter). The phrase "If you think FIGHTING terrorism is expensive, try IGNORING it" is now more prolific than ever. Now go buy a bumper sticker at the 'tard store.

2) The "mainstream" media (and CBS in particular) is nothing more than a partisan lapdog for the DNC. There's no denying it now.

3) There is a small (but vocal) group of 9/11 widows who view their husbands' deaths as a winning lottery ticket. The same people who formed a "victims" group opposing War in Afghanistan are now saying Bush is to blame for 9/11 (for not launching a preemptive war in Afghanistan). In other words, they will use their dead relatives as a prop to get money and score political points, no matter which side they have to take. I can't think of anything more pathetic.

4) Courtney Love is a filthy whore. I realize this has nothing to do with 9/11 or the hearings this week. But at least it's something we can ALL agree on!
