This one is almost so retarded as to be laughable (yes, Howard Dean, we’re LAUGHING at you). Are the Iraqi people
better off now that their women aren’t subjected to rapes, torture, beatings and starvation? Anyone on the fence about
this should go out and rent (or buy) a documentary called "Uncle Saddam," and read "The Complete Idiot's Guide to Understanding
Iraq" - by Joseph Tragert.
Now it’s time to put those critical thinking skills to good use. This is only for people who can understand cause
and effect (and think about multiple issues at the same time). Here we go: The economic sanctions placed on Iraq at the
end of the Gulf War were KILLING the Iraqi people. Traitor Ramsey Clark’s own group (the International Action Center)
once said that between 20 – 30,000 Iraqi civilians were dying each month because of the U.N.’s economic sanctions.
Of course, those numbers were probably inflated to suit Clark’s political stance, but rest assured people were dying
because of the sanctions. We couldn’t lift the sanctions with Saddam in power, since he was waiting for the right moment
to re-start his nuclear weapons program (again, according to David Kay). Furthermore, Saddam Hussein was supporting and funding
terrorism. After 9/11, we were at war against terrorism. When ALL factors are considered, Saddam HAD TO be ousted.
With Saddam in power, the world was less safe, and his own people were dying in droves. With him out of power, the world
is safer, and his people have a shot at prosperity. That may not be evident today, but in the long run it will be painfully
obvious. In the meantime, let’s look at the facts. Power generation in Iraq has surpassed pre-war levels. Same with
oil production. Medical care and health spending is way up. Sanctions are gone, and donations from the civilized world are
through the roof. Furthermore, children can now read textbooks that aren’t based upon the worship of Saddam Hussein.
Students will no longer have to read math textbooks which have story problems like "If Uday picks up a hot 13-year-old girl,
and she refuses to have sex with him, how many times will he have to beat her feet with a rod until they bleed and she changes
her mind?" OK, the books may not have been that blatant, but they were all about praising Saddam Hussein.
Contrast that with Michael Moore-on’s latest retarded book, "Dude, Where’s My Country?" On the cover of that
book, there’s a statue of George Bush being toppled (ha ha ha). The problem is, THERE ISN’T A FUCKING GEORGE BUSH
STATUE. In order to make political points, the Left has to constantly make things up. In the free world, nobody forces us
to bow down to our leaders. In fact, in many respects we make them bow down to us. We don’t hold our leaders up as gods
(giving them unlimited power over our lives). The Iraqi people have now moved from being "oppressed victims" to "free people."
Why are members of the Marxist-Islamist Alliance so opposed to that? Because it doesn’t fit their agenda - blaming America
for the world’s problems.
Despite their differences, the Marxists and Islamists share a common goal – the destruction
of America. Actually, the more immediate goal is to paint America in the most negative light possible. Here’s
an example. Before the first Gulf War, so-called "peace" activists were opposed to military action. They harped about the
need for economic pressure in the form of sanctions. Immediately after the war, to keep Saddam in check, the world adopted
the economic sanctions against Iraq. When we were hit on 9/11, what did the Marxist-Islamists do? They immediately blamed
the
ECONOMIC SANCTIONS (and the people who died in Iraq) as justification for al-Qaida’s attacks on
the WTC and the Pentagon. Just as John Kerry will switch positions at the drop of a hat to make himself more appealing to
voters, the Marxist-Islamist alliance changes its positions on world matters in order to paint America in the most negative
light possible. Fortunately, most of us know bullshit when we see it. Or I should say "smell" it. Get a clothespin, because
it’s getting ripe.
By the way, if you’re one of those ‘tards that says "We created Saddam" or "We put Saddam in power," please
shut the fuck up. Saddam Hussein came into power during the ‘Tarder Administration. But even if we were to ignore the
facts and buy into the notion that America "created" Saddam (or bin Laden), all that does is give us a greater moral obligation
to take his sorry ass out. Mission accomplished.
